There are a lot of green highlights inside-out of the Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Swinger, the third installment in the ‘Last Call’ series by Dodge.

The decision of Dodge not to continue with the Challenger and Charger from 2023 might have broken many hearts. However, Dodge is giving a fitting tribute to both these muscle cars by unveiling limited-run ‘Last Call’ editions of these two cars, a series with seven exclusive editions, including both the Challenger and Charger.

We have already seen the first and second editions in the ‘Last Call’ series in the form of Dodge Challenger Shakedown and Dodge Charger Super Bee. The American carmaker has now come up with the third edition of this series, the new Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Swinger.

Inspired by Dodge’s ‘swinging’ muscle cars hailing from the late 1960s, the Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Swinger gets a host of visual tweaks inside-out, thus making it look more elusive over the standard version. The car debuted alongside the Charger Scat Pack Swinger, the fourth car in the ‘Last Call’ Edition’.

As a part of the decision to make it a limited-run model, only 1,000 units of the Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Swinger will be up for grabs, all of which will be widebody models. Here’s what Dodge is offering in this third edition of the ‘Last Call’ series.

No, we are not talking about the current Challenger going green with an electric powertrain. That's something Dodge has already shown with the Charger Daytona SRT Concept. With the Swinger Edition, Dodge has brought back the iconic green-on-green Swinger look from Dodge’s muscle cars from the past.

This version gets a dual-tone color option of F8 Green and Sublime Green – while the entire car gets a coat of F8 Green, the boot lid gets a strip of Sublime Green across its width that extends towards the rear fenders. Another shade of White Knuckle is available as an option, though we believe this green-on-green shade is the one worth buying.

Apart from the exclusive color option, the Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Swinger also gets a host of ‘Gold School’ touches and elements. There are ‘Gold School Challenger’ and ‘Gold School R/T Widebody’ grille badges at the front, while there’s a ‘Gold School’ painted shaker intake.

The front fenders here have ‘Gold School’ Bee badges, while the rear fenders have retro ‘Swinger’ badges on the part covered by sublime green shade. The car also gets 20-by-11 inches ‘Gold School’ alloy wheels, behind which are black-colored six-piston Brembo brakes.

The Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Swinger comes bestowed with the same all-black theme for the cabin as in its standard version already available on sale. However, the interior feels one level up in exclusiveness, thanks to the Nappa/Alcantara leather seats, which come adorned with contrast green stitching and the green-colored ‘Dodge Rhombi’ logo on the headrests.

The ‘green’ influence doesn’t stop at the seats, with the Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Swinger also getting a green Swinger badge in the instrument panel display and interior accent stitching on the center console and door panels. The car also gets mod grain wood-like aluminum bezel textures on the dashboard trim.

Like other models falling in the ‘Last Call’ lineup, the Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Swinger also features a unique ‘345’ plaque under its hood. This plaque is finished in a theme of brushed aluminum and reads the vehicle’s name and silhouette, accompanied by inscriptions like ‘Designed in Auburn Hills’ and ‘Assembled in Brampton’. The ‘345’ badge denotes the 345-cubic-inch (6.2-liter) HEMI engine of this car, which claims a maximum power output of 717 hp and a peak torque output of 656 lb-ft.

After all these six cars get unveiled by September 21, the final, seventh model of the ‘Last Call’ edition will mark its presence at the 2022 SEMA show in Las Vegas, between November 1-4, 2022.
